LITTLE BRINKS ORPHANAGE, SOUTH AFRICA
An orphanage in Morester, South Africa called Little Brinks run by Kath Brinks along with her husband Danny, came up short on funds to complete the renovation of a chicken coop/hen house which is extremely important to its vitality and self-sustainability. Truth Cornerstone Project (TCP) through the grace of God connected with this organization and was able to provide the funds to finish the project.

THE CHICKEN COOP project
CUDDLE Trust is a charitable Christadelphian organization administered by Leona and Lucas Scheepers. Their daughters Lilandi Furstenburg and Liezl Viljoen are also very involved in running the Trust. Lucas Scheepers is the official administrator. The Scheepers family has been instrumental in assisting Kath Brinks with the Little Brinks orphanage. Many of the children that live there were born with fetal alcohol syndrome and taken from their mothers, hopefully only temporarily. CUDDLE Trust obtained other funding to create a playground for the children and a means for the orphanage to become self-sustaining with hens and goats.
When the Little Brinks chicken coop/hen house refurbishing project came up short of monies for additional hens, watering stations, feeders, and nesting boxes, Truth Cornerstone Project (TCP) was able to step in and help. TCP contributed $150 US to this project to see the completion of the chicken coop/hen house come to fruition. The goats and hens are fundamental to the orphanage and a self-supporting future, and the milk and eggs they produce are essential nourishment for the children.
More projects are on the horizon for Little Brinks! Kath Brinks and Leona Scheepers will keep us updated as they realize future plans for the orphanage and the children. With God's abundant grace, we will explore how can support them in the coming months.
