Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? Job 38:4-7

Gideon used the scientific method (experiment, observation and conclusion) to learn of the miraculous workings of God. Our Lord Jesus used observable miracles (the scientific method) to demonstrate his unseeable authority to forgive sins, “In order that you may know that the Son of Man has authority to forgive sins” - he said to the paralytic - “I say to you rise take up your pallet and go home.” (Mk 2:8-11)

The universe with its myriads of galaxies and stars is physically observable. What do we see? What do we hear? Do we see a miracle? Do we see the glory of our Heavenly Father displayed? We should! This is exactly the conclusion that applying the scientific method to the existence of the universe demands. Science says, “Miracles are required.”
